Welcome

Individual adult psychotherapy with UKCP trainee psychotherapist, Daniel Millichip-Boughton, in Oakham, Rutland

Choosing a psychotherapist is an important and personal decision. The fit between therapist and client matters.

I invite you to take your time here. Explore, get a sense of who I am and how I work, and notice how it feels. If you think we might be a good match, you’re welcome to get in touch.

What does therapy involve?

Research shows that the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most significant factors in change. The relationship is not just the backdrop: it does the work.

I pay attention not only to what you bring from your life outside the room, but to what unfolds between us in the room, in real time, as we work together. Both matter and are where change happens.

Is psychotherapy right for me?

People come to psychotherapy for many different reasons: feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear story of what’s wrong to begin. What matters is your experience and your sense that working with someone might help.
