What this policy covers

This policy covers:

  • what information this website collects from visitors, and why

  • the legal basis for collecting it

  • how it is stored and for how long

  • who it may be shared with

  • your rights under UK GDPR

  • how to raise a concern or make a complaint

What information I collect and why

I collect contact form submissions, your name, and email address to respond to your enquiry under contract.

If you consent to optional analytics, this website collects analytics to understand how this website is used and improve it.

I do not collect clinical information, payment details, or any sensitive personal data through this website.

How your data is stored

Contact form submissions are stored temporarily in Squarespace (my website platform) and sent to my encrypted email. I store your name and email address securely for up to 30 days after our last communication if we do not proceed further. If we arrange an assessment session, your data is transferred to my secure clinical records system and this website policy no longer applies. My full Privacy Policy, which I will send you, then governs how your data is handled.

I use Squarespace as my website platform. Squarespace operates under GDPR-compliant data processing agreements. It does not have access to clinical information.

If you consent to analytics, I use a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not share data with third parties.

How long I keep your data

If you contact me but we do not proceed to an assessment, I retain your name and email address for 30 days after our last communication, after which it is securely deleted.

If we proceed to an assessment or psychotherapy, your data is governed by my full Privacy Policy, which I will send you before we begin.

Who your data is shared with

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

I may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • If I am legally required to do so.

  • If there is a serious and immediate risk to your life or someone else’s.

Squarespace processes limited technical data as part of providing website infrastructure. This does not include the content of your enquiry beyond what is necessary to transmit it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data I hold about you

  • request correction of inaccurate data

  • request deletion or restriction of your data, subject to my legal obligations

  • object to processing in certain circumstances

  • receive your data in a portable format

  • withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the legal basis)

  • complain to the ICO if you are unhappy with how I handle your data
